Mark Anthony Valdez Sr.

Mark Anthony Valdez Sr., 61, of Midland, passed away on Monday, January 9^th, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16^th, 2023 at 3:30pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.

Mark was born on January 10^th, 1961 to Steve and Mary Valdez in San Bernadino, CA. Mark was an unforgettable man.  His personality, generosity and jokes impacted everyone he came across. Mark spent 23 years building his career at Culligan Water as plant supervisor where his infectious smile and great taste in music filled the building and employees with exuberance. Mark was the type of man that you can lean on for anything and would never ask for anything in return. For 33 years Mark raised 3 beautiful children on his own paving their way to happiness and success. He was the best daddy a child could have been blessed with. To say Mark was proud of his children would have been an understatement. Spending most of his time talking about his kid’s successes and achievements. Their biggest achievements being the children they brought into this world, his grandkids. There was not a minute you could spend with Mark where he was not speaking of his grand babies. The laughter and love Mark brought into this world was extraordinary and powerful beyond measure. He has left his “Mark” on everyone he met.

He is survived by his oldest daughter Brittany Romero and husband Greg and their 4 kids, Maleah 16, Zacheria 15, Addyson 9, & Jordan 7, His Son Mark Valdez Jr. and his wife Lidia and their 5 kids, Caleb 11, Louis 6, Mia 4, Adeline 2, & soon to be baby. His youngest daughter Jenna Cox and her children Delilah 10, Diesel 9, & Kaige 5. His sisters Cynthia Infante her children Monique, Saints, Elaine, Larry and their children. Dora Robles and her children Anna, Lorraine, Kathryn and Gilbert and their children. Dorthy Gutierrez and Her children David & Clorinda and their children.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Gilbert Delgado & John Infante. His parents Mary and Steve Valdez. His nephew and nieces Richard Gutierrez, Angie Montalvo, and Valerie Delgado.
