Kathy Stevens left a message on November 4, 2010:
Dear Dick and Family, We are thinking of you all and holding you in our prayers as we hold Gerene in our memory. Gerene was such fun to be around and loved life as she loved her family. She was very intelligent and yet had so much common sense too. We had lots of fun when we were kids - she used to put me on behind her on that big white horse at the farm in CP and through the hills and brush we would go. I loved that and trusted her. She pulled some pretty good tricks on me too. My mother loved her too and they enjoyed lots of laughs. Dick, I can't imagine one of you without the other. Try to have faith that better lives are ahead for us all. Gary and all of her children, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Kathy Stevens
