Maria Chavez, 52, of Midland, passed away on Friday, September 25th, in Chihuahua City, Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Jose Chavez, and her daughter, Cathy Chavez, both of Midland, her son, Alex Chavez of Austin, and numerous sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 1st, at 7:00 PM, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd, at 11:00 AM, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Midland, with Father Gilberto Rodriguez officiating.Funeral arrangements are under the care of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
