Maria Garcia, 54, of Big Spring, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 5, 2024 with Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 pm in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 6, 2024, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Maria was born October 2, 1969 to Santiago and Maria Bugarin. She was raised and went to school in Sweetwater, Texas. She met and married Patrick Garcia March 26, 1988. They had 2 daughters. Maria lived in Big Spring and Clyde, where she worked as a teacher’s aide and bus driver. Maria loved spending time with her family gardening, working on puzzles and welcoming in her first granddaughter. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.

Maria is survived by her husband Patrick; two daughters Jennifer and Tyler of Abilene and Adrianna of Big Spring and granddaughter Juniper. Seven sisters: Irma Beserra, Yolanda Vallejo, Yvonne Bugarin, Raquel Bugarin, Veronica Gamez, Beatris Romero, and Christina Mendoza; three brothers: Raul Bugarin, Pedro Bugarin and Steven Bugarin and numerous nephews and nieces.

Maria was preceded in death by parents Santiago and Maria; three brothers: Juan Bugarin, Santiago Bugarin, Jr., Lucas Bugarin and sister Silvia Garcia.
