Marguerite Orfali Haddad, 91, of Big Spring, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Ivins, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.She was born January 7, 1921, in Alexandria, Egypt, and married Dr. Issa Haddad in 1947. He preceded her in death December 31, 1967.Mrs. Haddad came to the United States in 1976 and became a United States Citizen in 1981. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Philathia Sunday School Class. She loved bridge, reading and traveling and was fluent in six languages. Her greatest love was her family and friends.She is survived by four children, Dr. Rudy Haddad and wife, Maureen of Big Spring, Dr. Nora Farkouch and husband, Dr. Samir of East Chester, New York, Dr. Samia Farah of Virginia and Karl Haddad of Indiana; eight grandchildren, Dr. Rudy Haddad and wife, Colleen and Dr. Christopher Haddad and wife, Jill all of San Angelo, Dr. Maggie Beitler and husband, John Paul of Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Christaina Karoleski and husband, Anthony of New Jersey, Anna Coricone and husband, Craig of East Chester, New York, Dr. Anthony Farah and wife, Jenna of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Christine Stang and husband, Eric of New Jersey and Robert Haddad of Indianapolis, Indiana; and numerous great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, P.
