Margie C. Villa, 66, of Stanton, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. July 8, 2005 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stanton with Rev. Thomas Vempala, officiating. Interment will follow at St.Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Stanton. A prayer vigil will be said at 7 PM Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was born on May 12, 1939, in Hondo, Texas and married Emilio Villa on November 14, 1963 in Stanton, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1996. Margie came to the Stanton community in 1959. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Emilio Villa, Jr. and Ana, Johnny Villa and Irma and Ray Villa all of Stanton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Belen Lozano of Stanton, and Lorene Ramirez and Fermin of Odessa; one brother, Frank Contreras of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three sisters, Anita Sanchez of Levelland, Josephina Vela of Houston, Olga Guzman of Joliet, Illinois; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
