Margie Castle

Margie Castle, 100, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, August 7, 2004, in a local nursing facility. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 9, 2004 at Mt. Olive Memorial Park, with Rick Cunningham , minister of 14th & Main Church of Christ, officiating. Mrs. Castle was born on November 18, 1903, in Taylor County, Texas and married Tom E. Castle on December 23, 1923 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1994. She was a member of 14th & Main Church of Christ.Mrs. Castle had resided in the Knott community since 1907 moving to Big Spring in 1972. Margie enjoyed entertaining at various places and functions by playing the piano along with her husband as he played the fiddle.Survivors include her son, T.J. Castle of Big Spring; two great-grandsons, Jeffrey Castle of Dallas, and Jacob Castle of Big Spring.She was also preceded in death by nine brothers, a sister, and one grandson.
