Margaret Rogers Morgan, 83, of Midland passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church of Midland where Margaret has been a loyal member since 1959. Rev. Richard Edwards and Rev. Larry Bailey will officiate and interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 North Big Spring Street, on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.She was born on January 15, 1924 in Wellington, Kansas to Clyde Cleveland and Hazel A. Albright York. In 1943, she married E. G. "Pat" Rogers in San Antonio. They moved to Midland during 1959 from Sweetwater. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1982. She was blessed again with a second wonderful marriage, when she married Harlan Morgan on March 23, 1985.Margaret was a true "June Cleaver" of a wife, mother, and homemaker. As a loving mother, she supported all of her children's many activities including many hours of volunteer work. She worked in real estate with Jack Mogle Realtors in the 1960's and early 1970's. Her favorite activities included many years of square dancing with the M-Squares Club of Midland, playing bridge, and in addition, was an accomplished seamstress and cook. Harlan and Margaret derived much pleasure in their extensive travels. She was extremely well read and her keen intelligence and quick wit will be missed by all who knew her.Survivors include her husband: Harlan Morgan of Midland; oldest son: David Y. Rogers and wife Nancy and their children J. Colten Rogers, Adair Rogers, and Christine Potts; son: Mark C. Rogers and wife Rachael of Birmingham, Alabama and their children Christopher Rogers and Matthew Rogers; daughter: Julie B. Bodnar and husband Loran of Atlanta, Georgia and their children Stephanie Perry, Whitney Talbert and husband Chris, and Ryon Bodnar; 2 great grandchildren: Ryan Thomas and Trey Rogers; stepdaughter: Janis King and husband Gary of Midland and their children Whitney and Aaron King and stepdaughter: Carol Sledge of Houston; 2 cousins: Oren Albright, Jr. and Beverly Albright Roberts; and 7 nieces and nephews of the Hadorn Family of Wellington, Kansas.She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Beth Hadorn.Memorials may be sent to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 3011 West Kansas, Midland, Texas 79701, Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.,
