Margaret McDonald Brown, 87, of Hilliard, Ohio, formerly of Big Spring, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2002, Doctors Hospital West, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, October 28, 2002, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. David Ring, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. She was born on September 18, 1915 in Big Spring, Texas and married James Weaver Brown on December 14, 1945 in Big Spring, Texas. preceded in death on July 22, 2001. Mrs. Brown graduated from McMurray University with a teaching degree. She tuaght 1st Grade at Sands Independent School District in Ackerly until her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Big Spring. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Drs. Marylou and Mike Rings of Dublin, Ohio and three grandchildren, Katie, Lindsey and Danny Rings.
