Marcus Evarts Wilkinson, III, was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 20, 1953. When Marc was 5, the Wilkinson family moved to Scottsville, Kentucky, and that is where Marc went to elementary and high school, graduating in 1971. He joined the Air Force in 1972 and achieved the rank of Sargent. When he was honorably discharged from the Air Force, he moved to West Texas and lived there for the remainder of his life. He married Sharon Chrane, and they had one child, John Michael. He was proceeded in death by his father. His mother, sisters (Dana Lea and Marcia) and son John survived. Marc was an excellent golfer and enjoyed camping and fishing.
