Marcella B. Christensen, 91 of Midland, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Midland. A private burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park.Marcella was born April 20, 1926 in Prague, Nebraska to Frank and Anna Brozek. She attended Business/Secretary school.Marcella married Max H. Christensen on August 14, 1949 in Midland, Texas.Marcella was part of the Midland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church which became Trinity Presbyterian. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Midland.Marcella is survived by her son, Douglas H. Christensen and wife Cheryl of Midland, Texas and their children, Daniel Christensen and wife Kelly and Will Christensen and wife Elisabeth; son, Dr. Robert E. Christensen and wife Mary Ann Oakley and their children, Kevin R. Christensen and wife Abby, Kent Christensen and wife Rachel, Michael Christensen and wife Kelsey, and Emily Christensen; daughter, Ellen S. Perry and husband Dale R. Perry of Albuquerque, New Mexico and their children, Hayden H. Snyder of Midland, Texas, Marcella N. Snyder of Albuquerque, New Mexico; great-grandchildren, John H. Christensen, Margot E. Christensen, Max A. Christensen and Samuel R. Christensen; step-grandchildren, Dylan Perry and Forrest Perry of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters, Georgia Frohner of Gretna, Nebraska and Lorene Tucker of Omaha, Nebraska.Marcella is preceded in death by her husband, Max H. Christensen and her parents.The family would like to thank Marcella’s caregivers, Maria Jurado, Bertha Mendoza and Ana Maria Mata along with her Hospice caregivers, Amanda Richardson, Irma Cervantes and Kayla Thrasher.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Midland at 911 W.
