Mack Morris III became a citizen of Dilley, Texas when he was born to his proud parents Mack and Josephine Morris in 1953. During Macks life he attended Oklahoma State University, enlisted in the Marine Corps, and spent 40 years in the oil industry.Macks life-long travels led him to visit many countries and see many things that most people only dream about. Through his travels and work Mack made many life-long friendships that he cherished.Macks second greatest love was to hunt and fish. He was happiest in the majesty of the Wyoming mountains with friends, family and his favorite lab Jake.The greatest love of Macks life was his family. As a testament to his love, Mack was a dedicated father, who set the example of work ethic as a hard worker and provider to his children Chas and Jenna. Mack loved his children and was very proud of the young adults they both had become.Mack is survived by his wife Gloria Yomar Morris, granddaughters Faith and Izzy, mother Josephine Morris, Paul and Sylvia Morris, Lonnie and Dian White, nieces Keisha and April, nephews Paul and Alex, and his dog, Buck. Mack was preceded in death by his father Mack C. Morris II.Mack will be greatly missed and his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Mack, your family loves you and will miss your humor, wisdom and the happy times we spent together. We will see you again in heaven.Macks family thanks Home Hospice of Midland, TX for the wonderful care they provided.The family will receive friends Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home in Houston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Hankaman Chapel at Second Baptist Church in Houston.
