Lynn Marie Heiting Murphy, 48, of Midland, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Father David Herrera, officiating. Lynn was born November 1, 1964, in Lubbock, Texas to Ann and Thomas J. Heiting. She attended St. Marys Catholic School in Odessa, TX and graduated from Odessa Permian High School. She also graduated from Texas Tech University with her bachelors degree in Economics. Lynn worked as a stockbroker and was a sales representative at Verizon. She was a dedicated and hard working employee.Lynn married John Murphy on December 4, 2009 in Odessa. She was full of life and an independent thinker. Lynn was passionate about cooking. She loved her family, her animals, music and traveling the world.Those left to cherish Lynns memory along with her husband, John Michial Murphy are her mother, Ann Heiting Wikse and Patrick Wikse of Odessa; her father, Dr. Tom J. Heiting of Midland; her brother Tom E. Heiting and wife Sherri of Midland, along with their sons, Paxton James and Payton Thomas; stepdaughter, Jennifer Nyapolla and son Kaden, Sandra and Chris Lee and children, Taylor and Troy, and David and Star Murphy, all of Midland; mother-in-law, Joann Murphy of Conroe, TX and family Kevin Murphy (Theresa), Tim Murphy (Dusty) of Lubbock, TX, Carmen Presley (Jimmy) and Rene Boren (Tim); stepsisters, Casey Ahlbrand (Scott) of N. Richland Hills, TX, Ellen McMahon (Jeff) of Ringwood, IL, and stepbrother, Brad Wikse (Kadee) of Denton, TX and stepsister, Claire Gonzales (Patrick); and many aunts, uncles and cousins.The family suggests memorials be made to St Marys Catholic School, 1703 Adams Ave, Odessa, TX 79761.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
