Lyla Marie Boland was born July 12, 2014 to Toby and Nicki Boland and big sister Kailan. On January 18, 2018 she became a big sister herself to a baby brother, Quade.Not long after Lyla was born we knew she was our angel and we would have to give her up too soon. On February 2, 2018 she officially earned her angel wings and flew to heaven. Lyla’s smile and laugh could light up the darkest room. She loved balloons, playing her keyboard, watching shows on the ipad, classical music, roughhousing with Kailan and Poppy, and snuggling anyone that would sit and hold her. She was loved by grandparents, Glen and Lynda Boland and Mike and Anita Tindle, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, therapists, nurses, and her CDG family worldwide. It has amazed us how much a little girl with a vocabulary of about 10 rarley used words could teach us about life, God, joy, and perseverance. She is already sorely missed and we look forward to the day we get to snuggle her again in her perfect heavenly body.The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Monday, February 5, 2018. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Midland Bible Church. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Lovington Cemetery in Lovington, New Mexico.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
