Lucille Moore, 75, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, in a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2009 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Wayne Frost, pastor, officiating. She was born on February 20, 1933, in Quanah, Texas and married Ken Moore on November 17, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. She was raised in Quanah and attended school there. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a supervisor of Yellow Pages Advertising. After moving to Big Spring in 1989 she worked for C.R. Anthony for several years and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Ken Moore of Big Spring; one brother, James Downey of Amarillo and one sister, Audine Riley of Wellington and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maude Downey and one sister, Margaret Koch. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 810 Scurry St., Big Spring, Texas 79720 or to a favorite charity.
