Lucille "Granny" King, 85, of Coahoma, died on Friday, January 21, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Eddy Pitchford, minister of Coahoma Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, January 24, 2011, at the funeral home.She was born on May 31, 1925, in Eastland County, Texas and married William H. King on April 10, 1947 in Sweetwater, Texas.Granny was a homemaker, helping raise her grandchildren and many other children of family members and friends. Family and raising children were the two most important things in her life.She was a member of Coahoma Church of Christ.Survivors include her husband, William "Pop" King of Coahoma; one son, Billy King and wife, Ginger of Coahoma; two daughters, Rose Thomas and Judy Thomas and husband, Darren all of Austin; one sister, Nelda Watts of Coahoma; one brother, Lee Moore and wife, Retta of Austin; nine grandchildren, Kelly Thomas, Amy Lowe, Krista Barresi, Vanessa Arista, Josh Thomas, Chris Thomas, Paige Hipp, Isaac King and Zack King; and twelve great-grandchildren, Taylor Mendez, Tristan Lowe, Angelina Arista, Tavyn Hipp, Levi Arista, Tyler Lowe, Noah Thomas, Sunny Barresi, Paislie Hipp, Andy Thomas, Sevanna Arista and Trevor Hipp.She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and two sisters.The family suggests memorials be made to Coahoma Church of Christ, P.
