Lucille Haywood Patton, 87, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, April 26, 2007, in an Odessa hospice facility. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Pastor Ken Nobles, of Cornerstone Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.She was born on July 20, 1919, in Plains, Texas and married Edgar Roy Patton in Seagraves. He preceded her in death in 1975.Mrs. Patton had worked as a hospital ward clerk for 10 years in Arizona and Utah. She had been a resident of Big Spring since 1949. She was a seamstress and loved to read and travel. For the past 15 years her granddaughter, Tianna Beck, has taken care of her and shared her life and her family. She was a Baptist.Survivors include a son, Duane Patton and wife, Jill of Durango, Colorado; a daughter, Joy Moore of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Kathy Lujan of Big Spring, Karen Lynn Patton of Idaho, Tianna Moore Beck and husband, Bobby of Big Spring, and Tylan Lloyd Moore of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; five great grandchildren, Kirsten Lujan of Big Spring, Damien Lujan of Big Spring, Sedona Patton of Idaho, Joshua Beck of Big Spring, and a very very special great grandson, Jeremy Beck of Big Spring. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.The family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice House Facility, 903 N. Sam Houston, Odessa, Texas 79761.
