After fighting a long and courageous battle to "stick around as long as possible," Lottie Mae Bryant Bell passed from this life with her loving family at her side on March 23, 2009. She was born on August 6, 1921 to William T. and Essie Bryant in Crockett, Texas. She was the tenth of eleven children. In 1924 the family moved to a young community called Greenwood, Texas. She was active in Greenwood Baptist Church, playing the piano and teaching Sunday school as a teenager, graduating from Midland High School in 1940. In 1941, she married the love of her life Freeman Bell. Lottie and Freeman had a life of adventure, moving to several western states and enjoying all that they had to offer. But, the best adventure was being a Mother and Grandmother. She loved being Nanny and prepared many wonderful family meals. She will be missed by all that knew her, but, will be greeted at heaven's gate by her loved ones she has missed so much, her husband Freeman, her parents, five sisters, four brothers, several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter Deanna and husband Chuck Pearson, son David and wife Pam Bell. Her beloved grandchildren Charlotte Pearson, her daughter, Victoria; Erik Pearson, wife Ann; Jennifer Tillock, husband Kevin, their daughters, Katherine and Rachel; and Daniel Bell, wife Lacie, their daughters, Kaleigh and BriAnn; Lottie's brother, Arlie and wife, Mary Evelyn Bryant and many nieces and nephews.
