Lori was born on February 28, 1979, in Nederland, Texas to Leamon Charles Payton and Martha George Payton.
Lori was a loving wife to her husband of 16 years and an amazing mother to their three children. She was an active woman who thoroughly enjoyed exercising, sports, and many outdoor activities such as scuba diving, tubing, hiking, and camping. She was an amazing homemaker and caregiver to her family, whom she would do anything for.
Lori was a God-fearing, faithful member of the Westside church of Christ in Midland. She always had a big smile and made a lasting impact on those who knew her. She was so loving and kind to anyone she met and brought joy to all. She loved God and lived a life that demonstrated her love for God. During her battle with cancer, she was such an encouragement and inspiration to many in how she handled her trials. She was a fighter who was incredibly strong, yet tender-hearted, gentle, and compassionate. She was an incredible woman who will be sorely missed, but we rejoice in knowing that she is in Paradise.
Lori is survived by her parents, Leamon and Martha Payton; husband, Daryl Arredondo; children, Tristein, Addison, and Austin Arredondo; grandson, Keagon; siblings, Tony Payton and wife Paula, Brad Payton and wife Karrie; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Lori is preceded in death by her sister, Kim Boudreaux.
The family would like to express their gratitude to their Westside church of Christ family, the Greenwood community, her medical staff, and many others that have helped through this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Westside church of Christ missions or preacher training funds.
Pallbearers will be Tony Payton, Brad Payton, Brandon Payton, Brice Payton, Terry Pafford, Joe Prieto, Kris Pumphrey, and Jeff Scott.
