Lorhea Essie Patton

Lorhea Essie Patton, 87, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2001, in a Clearwater, Kansas nursing home. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Saturday, November 24, 2001, at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jerry McGuire, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene of Midland, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Roger Huff, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene of Big Spring. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. She was born on February 12, 1914 in Colorado City, Texas and married Virgle Ray Patton on December 16, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1984. Mrs. Patton came to Big Spring as small child. She grew up here and attended Big Spring schools. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Kristi Patton of Wichita, Kansas; two grandchildren, Robby Virgle Patton and Katie Lynn Patton both of Wichita, Kansas and two step grandchildren, Julie Maxson and Levi Maxson both of Clearwater, Kansas.
