Loren Dean Scobee

Loren Dean Scobee, 53, of Big Spring, died on Monday, May 23, 2011, at his residence. Private family services will be held at a later date.He was born on February 18, 1958, in Pueblo, Colorado and married Leona Jan LeMay on February 18, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada.Loren moved with his parents to Las Vegas, Nevada where he grew up. He joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Tacoma, Washington. He was an aircraft mechanic and electronics technician. After his discharge from the military, Loren continued working as a civilian contractor.He was a member of the Chapel of Faith.Survivors include his wife, Leona Jan Scobee of Big Spring; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Patty Scobee of North Las Vegas, Nevada, Doug and Patty Scobee of Las Vegas, Nevada and Dennis and Dale Scobee of Tonopah, Nevada; and an uncle, Dean Polf of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Barbara Polf Scobee. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
