Lola Moore, age 94, of Midland, TX passed away peacefully at Midland Memorial Hospital on Tuesday August 18, 2026 after a brief illness. Lola was an active member of the Midland community for well over sixty years. Friends and family a like will miss her ready smile and quick wit.
Lola was born on August 20, 1931 in Grand Prairie, TX to Sammy Floyd Myers and Minnie Marie Myers. Lola is survived by her son Tom Manus of Midland, TX; six grandchildren: Armin Garza and Jaime Garza, Polly Gowan, Michelle Manus-Abraham, Melissa Patterson and Harlea Manus. She was, also, blessed with 14 great-grandchildren.
Lola was proceeded in death by her daughter Diane Windsor, her son Gary Manus & both husbands, Elmer Manus and Perry Moore.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel on Friday September 18, 2026 at 1:00pm with reception to follow at Lola’s home.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff of Midland Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
