Lois Bohannan, 87, of Colorado City, died on Friday, June 1, 2007, at her residence. Graveside funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the Colorado City Cemetery with Rev. Frances Carroll of Lubbock, officiating.She was born on December 28, 1919, in Knox County, Texas and married E.C. Bohannan on December 21, 1938 in Benjamin, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2004.Lois enjoyed reading western novels, sewing and working crossword puzzels. She especially enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois had taught Sunday School for many years and enjoyed attending church services while she was able. She was a Baptist.Survivors include two daughters, Rosann Allen of Rockport and Vickie Spray of Colorado City; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Bohannan of Odessa; one sister, Julia Wakefield of California; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
