Lloyd Everett Thomas, age 94, died May 12, 2016.Lloyd was born in Martin County, Texas, September 18, 1921 to Roy and M.A. Thomas. Losing his father at the age of 11 in an accident, life became hard for his family during the depression and he was forced to leave school after 8th grade to help his mother farm. When WWII began, Lloyd joined the Navy serving as an underwater repair diver.
