Linda Sue Gardner Potter, 69 of Greenwood, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. At her request, no services are being held at this time.Linda was born on March 10, 1948 in Portales, New Mexico to Kenneth and Velma (Corbin) Gardner. Linda had a very likeable, loving personality which led to her winning the title of FFA Sweetheart in high school. She also loved her time spent in 4H and rooting for the school’s sport’s teams as a cheerleader. Linda’s kind disposition continued after graduation and into adulthood, presenting itself in many aspects of her life. She loved donating her time, belongings, and monetary gifts to a variety of local charities. Linda was always there to give a ton of love to her nieces, nephews, friends, and family. She loved spending time with her husband and best friend, Edward Potter, at their home with their dogs gardening. Linda will be truly missed by everyone that knew her.She is survived by her husband, Edward Potter; step-daughters, Jennifer Potter and Julieanna Knapp; grandchildren, Megan Greenier and Colby Knapp; brothers, Ray Gardner, Olin Gardner and wife Janice, Mark Gardner and wife Janice, Bill Gardner and wife Lisa, Joe Gardner and wife Marcia; and numerous nieces and nephews.Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Velma Gardner; sister-in-law, Sharon Gardner; and nephew, Jason Gardner.The family would like to express their gratitude towards Midland Memorial Hospital, Allison Cancer Center, and Hospice of Midland.In honor of Linda’s love of charity, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.,
