Linda Lou Bosworth, 75, of Midland, joined her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 2, 2015 after a lengthy battle with Alzeheimers. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Midland.Linda was born on January 19, 1940 to Thomas and Dorothy Jackson in Ft. Worth, Texas. She married Corky Bosworth on August 22, 1964 in Midland, they enjoyed 51 years together. She loved painting, collecting art, traveling and taking pictures to fill her volumes of scrapbooks. Linda delighted in the years spent at the ranch with her goats, llamas and her faithful blue heeler, Girl. Linda was passionate about plants and flowers and opened her own business called Linda’s Place in the 1970’s. She enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with God. Linda loved serving people, especially the Bosworth Company employees and their families. She took great pride in her husband, children and their many accomplishments. Linda’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her eight beautiful grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Nina”.She is survived by her husband, Corky Bosworth of Midland, TX; daughter, Julie Viña and husband, John of Boerne, TX and their children Henry, Margaret and George Viña; daughter-in-law, Shannon Bosworth of Midland, TX and her children Trey and wife, Kayla Bosworth; Morgan and husband Daniel Scharbauer; Catie and husband Strother Simpson; Annabeth Bosworth and John Bosworth; and great grandchildren, Lucas and Nathan Bosworth.She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving son, Randy Bosworth, and her sister, Carolyn Lindsey.Pallbearers will be Trey Bosworth, John Bosworth, Henry Viña, Ron Ainsworth, Tom Knittle, Farris Parsons, James Forrest and Frank Rios.The family sincerely appreciates the kind and loving attention from all of her caregivers, especially Amy Rios, Monica Lavenant, and Mary Olgin.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to Unlock Ministries, 2917 W Industrial Ave, Midland, TX 79701 or a charity of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
