Linda Lee Gwin

Linda Lee Gwin, 72, of Big Spring, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the assurance that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, July 10, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring.

Born November 23, 1953, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to James Edward and Lillian Ann (Lundquist) Andrusko, Linda graduated from Minneapolis Public Schools before attending Northwest Bible College in Minot, North Dakota. There she met the love of her life, Myron Gwin. They married in 1975 and shared 51 years of devoted marriage, building a Christ-centered home wherever Myron’s career led them.

Together they raised four children—Sarah, Rebecca, Jessica, and Matthew—living in Montana, Illinois, Oklahoma, and finally Texas. Linda homeschooled her daughters for six years before returning to school herself to earn her nursing degree. She faithfully served others as a Registered Nurse at Via Christi Hospital in Ponca City, Scenic Mountain Medical Center, the West Texas VA Hospital, and later as an Adjunct Instructor at Howard College, where she trained healthcare professionals and first responders in CPR and emergency care.

After retirement, Linda and Myron enjoyed traveling the country to visit family and friends. She loved photographing Texas wildflowers, historic sites, and God’s beautiful creation. Bright, bold wildflowers perfectly reflected Linda herself—vibrant, feisty, and wonderfully straightforward. She also became an avid geocacher, earning the Texas Two-Step recognition for completing two geocaches in every county in Texas.

More than anything, Linda loved the Lord and loved her family. She was a faithful woman of prayer who spent time daily lifting each member of her family before God. Her unwavering faith, quiet strength, wise counsel, and servant’s heart touched countless lives and leave a legacy that will endure for generations.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Myron Gwin; her children, Sarah Nicole Munson (Kyle), Rebecca Marie Gwin, Jessica Rachel Gwin, and Matthew James Gwin (Samantha); her grandchildren, Edward, Eulalie, Elliana, Emelia, Audrie, Michael, Joseph III, and Mason; her brothers, Steve Andrusko (Terry) and James Andrusko Jr. (Rhonda); her brother-in-law, Richard Brue; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Andrusko; her sisters, Marcia Brue and Debra Reed; and her brother, Michael Andrusko.

Linda’s life was a testimony of God’s faithfulness. She loved deeply, served generously, spoke honestly, and pointed others to Christ through the way she lived. While she will be greatly missed, her family rejoices in the promise of eternal life and looks forward to the day they will see her again.
