Lance, so sorry to hear about Joy. She was a very loved cousin. You are so right in the loving way you described your Mom. We live in Bedford just close to Colleyville. Truly sorry to hear of her passing.

Mrs. C has been a Joy in my life since the first day I met her. Her son Lance became one of my best friends and she became like a mom to me. She was always so kind, generous, caring, giving and would always laugh at our silly jokes. She was always very hospitable and seemed to spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing yumminess for her guests. I also remember her laugh and sense of humor. She always made me feel special and she brought Joy into my life. She will be truly missed although her legacy will continue on through her family and loved ones.

My heart is heavy as we all attempt to cope with the loss of such a sweet and beautiful part of our family. When my brother chose Joy for his soulmate, I was just a young teenager. I was in awe of her. Besides being so pretty she was an awesome cook, and could also bake and sew with such ease and excellence. We will all miss her, but I know that she must have been so happy to join Ron in heaven. Even though he passed away some years ago, Joy never stopped loving him - the last time I saw her she told me how much she missed him. So although we wish you could have stayed here with us longer Joy, fly high and rejoice in the chance to be with Ron, your parents and mine and all the other loved ones that went on before you. We love you and will never forget your beautiful smile and sweet disposition. Love, Linda

I am so sorry to hear this news! What a dear, dear friend we have lost. Joy certainly lived up to her name! She will long be remembered for her dedication to Storybook Christmas and all she did to help Zeta Xi to accomplish the project. I will miss listening to her stories and visiting with her. Our love and prayers go out to the family. May sweet memories carry you through this difficult time.
