Linda Wyrick Langohr, 57, passed away March 24, 2010 in the comfort of her home in Midland after an extended battle with cancer. Linda was born to Troy and JoAnn Wyrick in Clovis, New Mexico on February 6, 1953. A 1971 graduate of Lakeview High School in San Angelo, she married her high school sweetheart, Marcus, on July 21, 1973. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda loved and cherished her family. Down-to-earth and able to laugh at herself, she made friends everywhere she went. Linda was an avid collector of antiques and relished the hunt for her next treasure. Christmas was Linda's favorite time of the year and she especially enjoyed displaying the antique and vintage Christmas decorations she collected for years. With an impeccable aesthetic sense, she took great pride in creating a beautiful and welcoming home. Linda went out of her way to make life better for those she loved and will live on in the hearts and minds of all she touched. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Troy Wyrick, of Brownwood and father-in-law Frederick Langohr, of San Angelo. Linda is survived by her husband, Marcus Langohr, of Midland; son Joshua Langohr, of Austin; daughter Kimberly Langohr and her son, Trenton Lunson, of Midland; mother JoAnn Wyrick, of Midland; brother Jack Wyrick and his wife Barbara, of Midland; brother Bob Wyrick and his wife Doris, of San Angelo; sister Debbie Hohertz, of Wichita Falls; mother-in-law Sandy Langohr, of San Angelo; brother-in-law Michael Langohr and his wife Marilyn, of Hurst; and sister-in-law Robin Sheen and her husband Terry, of San Angelo. The family would like to thank Dr. Donald Crockett, Dr. David Watkins, the staff of Allison Cancer Center, and Hospice Midland for the care and support they provided to Linda and her family.A celebration of Linda's life will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A memorial service will follow on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 10:00 am at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. In lieu of flowers, Linda asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.,
