Linda Jane Coskey, 59, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, February 28, 2008, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Mark Winn, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Sand Springs, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Electra Memorial Cemetery, Electra, Texas.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.She was born on October 2, 1948, in Bowie, Texas and married Michael Coskey on September 11, 1964 in Iowa Park, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2005.Mrs. Coskey had lived in the community since 1975 and worked at Wal-Mart until the time of her death. Linda was a very family oriented person. She was especially fond of her grandchildren and was known as "Nana" or "Nana Linda". She enjoyed bingo and playing games with friends and family. She was a Baptist and attended First Baptist Church of Sand Springs.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Lesa Coskey of Big Spring and Clark and Kayla Coskey of Midland; her mother, Hazel Cozart of Midland; two sisters, Penny Bateman of Midland and Kelly Scheinder of Saginaw; one brother, Joe Cozart of Odessa; seven grandchildren, Shay Shubert of Kermit, Taylor Johnson of Merkel, Ashton Johnson of Big Spring, T.J. Karr and Clayton Karr of Colorado City and Brianna and Matthew Coskey of Midland. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Coskey and her father, Bill Cozart.
