Linda Jane Brown Ham Boney

Linda Jane Brown Ham Boney was born on December 26, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas. She passed away on February 6, 2024, joining her family in Heaven. Linda was the eldest child of Leslie and Selma Brown. She grew up in Snyder, Texas, where she attended school until her marriage to Irival E. Ham on April 11, 1960. Together, they had three daughters: Katherin (Ham) Starr, Deborah (Ham) Hargrove, and Samantha (Ham) Morrow.

After her marriage, Linda pursued her education, earning her GED and attending Western Texas College in Snyder to become a nurse. She worked at Colorado City Hospital for several years before marrying JT Boney on April 12, 1979, and moving to Sand Springs, Texas. Linda and JT enjoyed 40 years of marriage before his passing.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband Irival E. Ham, and her husband JT Boney.

She is survived by her siblings: brother Leslie Brown, sisters Susan Rosson, and Amy Hardy; her three daughters and their spouses; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and 1 ¾ great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring, Texas. Her service will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 2 pm at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.

The honorary pallbearers will be Linda’s grandsons: Matthew Ham, Joshua Sigmon, Dallas Morrow, Leo Morrow, Adam Jones, and her great-grandsons: Forest Riley and Mason Hutchinson.
