In Loving Memory of Linda G. Applegate
Linda G. Applegate of Midland, Texas, was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of God. She will be remembered most for the love she poured into her family, her unwavering faith, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.
Linda was married to her beloved husband, James Applegate, with whom she shared a life built on love, faith, and family. Her family was at the heart of everything she did, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved.
She is survived by her children, Amy and Sean Kidd, Angela and Dexter Fryar, and her grandchildren, Lisa and Preston McGee, Amanda and Travis Campbell, Jonathan Sly, and Zach and Taylor Kidd. She was also a proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy and gave her even more reasons to smile.
Linda was deeply devoted to her faith and was a proud Baptist. Her relationship with God was an important part of her life, and she sought to share that faith through the way she loved and cared for others.
A lover of books, Linda found comfort and joy in reading and treasured the quiet moments spent with a good story. She had a gentle heart, a love for learning, and an appreciation for the simple blessings of life.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Allen Lightfoot and Ivy Mildred Stump, Aunts Jerry Wright and Faye Mack and husband. She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and countless memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Though Linda is no longer with us in person, the love she gave her family will continue through every generation. Her faith, kindness, and devotion to the people she loved will never be forgotten.
She leaves behind not only a family, but a legacy of love—a legacy that will live on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Until we meet again, may she rest peacefully in the loving arms of God.
