Linda Darlene Groebl, 62, passed away on June 10, 2013 in Midland, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 16, 2013, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013, 9:30 AM at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, June 17, 2013, at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. Linda was born on February 17, 1951 to LeRoy and Audra Livingston in Abilene, Texas. She was raised in Odessa, where she attended school and graduated from Aladdin Beauty College. She was a talented hairdresser and had a successful career at Kikis Salon. In 1978, she married Ted Groebl, Jr. and she and her son, Kevin Gordon, moved to Big Spring to live with Ted and his three children. The family moved to Midland in 1981. Linda enjoyed painting, sewing, shopping, and making crosses. She made many beautiful crosses for her family. Linda was a wonderful cook and was always searching for new delicious recipes for her family to enjoy. Linda was recently thrilled at having a new great grandbaby. She was kind, easy going, and a generous person. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.She is survived by her children, Kevin and wife Tracy Gordon, Kristian Gilbert and her boyfriend Chad Thompson, Natalie and husband Earl Permenter, and Deborah Costilla; grandchildren, Kneely and husband Sam Hall, Landry Gordon, Ainsley Gordon, Conoly Gordon, Gavin Gordon, Matney Gordon, Nathan Permenter, Kassady Groebl, Wanda Groebl, and their mother, Tina Roux, Reggie Gilbert, Brittany Gilbert, and Shane Gilbert; great grandbabies, Aniston Hall, Khiri Tabors, Malachi Gilbert, Ryan Gilbert, Avey Gilbert, Joslynn Thompson, and Jace Thompson; siblings, Ruth Fields, Joyce Weems, Maxine Silvey, Don Livingston, and Charlene Livasy; and her best friends, Shirley Fagile and Marty and John Riggs.She was preceded in death by her loving husband , Ted Groebl, Jr.; son, Ted Groebl III; her parents; brothers Jay Thomas, William Livingston, and Robert Livingston.Pallbearers will be John Riggs, Earl Permenter, Chad Thompson, Conoly Gordon, and Nathan Permenter.
