Linda Tibbets, 54, of Big Spring, died on Monday, October 8, 2007, in a Midland hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Mt. Olive Memorial Park with Mona Lue Tonn, pastor of Spring Tabernacle, officiating.She was born to Elmer and Bessie Sorrells on April 16, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas and married Jerry Tibbets on December 17, 1988 in Big Spring, Texas.Linda was a lifetime resident of Big Spring and attended Big Spring schools. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband, Jerry Tibbets of Big Spring; a step son, Gary Tibbets of Big Spring; four brothers, Jody Hodnett of Big Spring, Lynn Sorrells of Killeen, Ernest Sorrells of Arkansas, and Clifford Fountain of Dallas; and four uncles.She was preceded in death by her parents.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
