Lillian Tereletsky, 84, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, in a Midland nursing home. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on February 6, 1924, in Claridge, Pennsylvania and married Michael Tereletsky on August 30, 1947 in Biloxi, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1983.She moved to Big Spring in 1955 as a member of Webb Air Force Base. She enjoyed reading and being "Mrs. T" to the many children she cared for, loving them as if they were her own.Lillian was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church where she served as a member of the Altar Society.Survivors include two daughters, Michele Tereletsky of Schertz and Judith Tereletsky of Big Spring; one son, Mark Tereletsky of Wadsworth, Ohio; one sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Dzikiy of Wilmerding, Pennsylvania; and two grandsons, Mark S. Tereletsky and Michael D. Tereletsky both of Wadsworth, Ohio.She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sarah Falta Ortciger; one sister, Helen Ortciger; and one brother, Joseph Ortciger.The family suggests memorials be made to the Big Spring Humane Society, PO Box 823, Big Spring, Texas 79721 or to Dora Roberts Rehab Center, PO Box 2213, Big Spring, Texas 79721.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
