Leta Faye Richardson, age 85, of Midland, passed away September 9, 2012 at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born in Shawnee, OK on June 3, 1927 to Thomas Jefferson Robinson and Willie E. Reed Robinson.She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Bobbye Jo Robinson, brother, Tommy Robinson, and daughter, Theresa Renee Hendrick.Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Max Richardson; sons, Stanley Pierce and wife Sharon of Farmington, NM, Michial Pierce and wife Carolyn of Midland, TX, and Max Richardson, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Spring, TX; daughter, Melissa Ruth Bruton and husband Scott of Needville, TX; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.Leta was a 20-year member of the Chaparral Club of Texas Extension and Education Association. She was 4 times past president. She was a member of the Eastern Star and member of the First Christian Church. Most of all, she enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cross stitching, and visiting with friends and family.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Rusty Gray, officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
