Lester Crawford

Lester Crawford, 74, of Big Spring, died on Friday, January 31, 2003, at the Hospice House Facility in Odessa. Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, February 3, 2003, at Brown Ranch Cemetery in Coleman County, Texas with Elwin Collom, Chaplain with Home Hospice of Big Spring, officiating.     He was born on April 7, 1928 in Coleman County, Texas.      Mr. Crawford lived in Big Spring for the past 20 years. He worked in the oilfield most of his life as a tool dresser, mechanic and also as a driller.     He was a member of the Church of Christ.     Survivors include three sons, Don Crawford and wife, Melinda and Ron Crawford and wife, Onie all of Moscow, Idaho, and Lester D. Crawford of Poulsbo, Washington; one daughter, Connie Crawford of Powell, Wyoming; one brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Irene Crawford of Big Spring; five sisters, Bernice Couch of Plainview, Texas, Mildred Bennett of Euless, Texas, Nadine Faulks of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Shirley Hintner and husband, Bernard of Stephenville, Texas, Billie Freeman and husband, Bill of Euless, Texas; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.     Lester was preceded in death by his parents, M. N. (Bud) & Amy Morgan Crawford, his twin brother Vester Crawford, and one grandson.     The family suggest memorials be made to Home Hospice, 600 S.
