Leslie “Les” Romack, 42, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Midland. Private services are scheduled.He was born on January 5, 1973 to Lawrence “L. D.” and Consuelo “Connie” Romack in Oklahoma City, OK. He grew up in Midland, Texas where he attended Robert E. Lee High School and graduated with the class of 1991. Leslie’s love of photography and people developed with his participation of the high school year book committee and the literary magazine, A Pebble Cast 1991. It wasn’t until his attendance at the University of North Texas, in Denton that he found his passion for Health and Fitness. Leslie went on to working in gyms as a personal trainer in Dallas, Denver, Co, San Diego, CA and Washington DC. He held Boot Camps and privately trained clients all over the country. He would say he never felt he was working because he loved what he was doing so much. Leslie will be deeply missed by all of the people whose lives he touched in his travels and by his lifelong friends from Midland. He was a free happy soul who loved life. He was a dear friend and kind hearted.Les is preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Romack; sister, Sandra Venerable of Midland and brother, Antonio Santis of Plano, Texas; his aunts Leonor Palacio, Eugenia Palacio, Anita Goillandeau and Rocio Di Rosa all of Midland, his nephews Travis Venerable and wife Lindsay of New Bern, North Carolina, Justin Venerable of Midland, his great niece Dylan Venerable, his cousins Jenny Palacio and Joseph Palacio of Midland.The family has requested that donations be made to Midland Hospice in his name in lieu of flowers.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
