Leslie Brewer Boswell, age 56, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025.
She was born on December 12, 1968, in Lamesa, Texas, to Lyn Medlin Brewer and Walter Scott Brewer, III. Leslie’s family later moved to Odessa, where she attended Permian High School, graduating in 1987. She grew up alongside her two siblings and developed a love for family traditions and making cherished memories.
After high school, Leslie enrolled at Odessa College, where she studied Business Administration and Management. She later earned an Associate Degree from the Court Reporting Institute of Dallas. In 2002, Leslie moved to Midland and worked for Permian Court Reporters before meeting her soulmate, John Adam Ellsworth Boswell. They married in 2004 and shared 16 wonderful years together before his passing in 2020. Together, they raised two beloved children, Aiden Radford Scott, 19, and Norah Raelyn, 16. Her children were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into creating special moments, from unforgettable family vacations to magical birthday celebrations. The Hill Country held a special place in her heart, where she found joy and peace creating lasting memories on the river.
As an accomplished Business woman, Leslie was a passionate advocate for the Midland community in addition to her cherished family. In 2016, she co-founded Boswell & Associates, a thriving property management and real estate company, where she earned numerous awards and accolades for her professionalism and dedication. Her vision and commitment to the growth of Midland left a lasting legacy.
Leslie is preceded in death by her parents, Lyn Medlin Brewer and Walter Scott Brewer III, and her
husband, John Adam Ellsworth Boswell. She is survived by her children, Aiden Radford Scott and Norah Raelyn; her sister, Stephanie Cheri Jones; her brother, Walter Scott Brewer IV; her nephew, Patrick B Ray and his wife, Sophie, of Houston; and her nephew, Abram Scott Brewer of Crane, Texas. She will also be deeply missed by her extended dear family and countless friends.
Leslie’s family would like to give heartfelt thanks to Jennifer Evans, Gabby Carrasco, Kelsey Tanner and Team at JK Dance Center, Mason Sparacino, and Katie Wilson for their unwavering dedication, love and care. In addition, a special thanks is given to the Permian High School Class of 1987, Bynum School, and the Midland community for the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
A Rosary will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Midland on Friday, February 14th at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will follow on Saturday, February 15th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with a reception following.
