Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.Leonardo was born on March 20, 2002 to Rosa Reyes and Lorenzo Cano in Midland. He was raised by his mother. Leonardo was a student at Parker Elementary. He loved baseball and was a left fielder for the Eastern Little League Texas Rangers. When he wasn’t playing baseball he was playing Xbox with his cousins, playing barefooted outside with his friends, climbing, playing chase, or figuring out a way to play a joke on someone. He was such a happy kid that was full of life, energetic and had the biggest heart of anyone. Leonardo loved his family, friends, his dog Ruby, and most of all his mom, Rosa.He is survived by his mother, Rosa Reyes and her husband, Sergio Morales; sister, Angela Cano; brother, Lorenzo Cano, Jr.; brother, Aztlan Torres and his son, Juaquin Torres; and brother, Ixaal Torres; maternal grandparents, Cynthia and Francisco Villarreal, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Maria and Jesus Cano; maternal great grandmother, Rita Amaya; uncle, Geronimo Hernandez; uncle, Guillermo and Nancy Hernandez; aunt Rita and Oscar Ronquillo; uncle, Francisco Villarreal Jr. and Alma; uncle, Luis Alberto Granado; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.Pallbearers will be Aztlan Torres, Lorenzo Cano Jr., Ixaal Torres, Gilbert Hernandez, Guillermo Hernandez Jr., Gavin Hernandez, Luis Granado Jr., and Joshua Romero.In lieu of flowers the family ask that you please make donations to help with the funeral costs http://www.gofundme.com/8abbj4Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
