Lennon Everett Lane, 16, of Big Spring, died on Monday, August 5, 2002. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 8, 2002, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Wheat, pastor of Berea Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Thursday at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldthwaite, Texas. He was born on June 4, 1986 in Dallas, Texas. Lennon had been a resident of Big Spring for two years. He was an avid chess player and loved drawing and art work. He also loved fishing and hunting, skateboarding, fourwheelers, horses, sports, being outdoors and hanging out with friends. He attended the Baptist and Church of Christ churches. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Oweda Lane of Big Spring; one brother, Bobby Lane of Big Spring; his paternal grandfather, Jim Lane of Sweetwater; his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Ronnie Biggerstaff of Dallas and Ruth Nixon of Lubbock; and aunts and uncles, Judy Banks of Dallas, Bill Lane of Lubbock, Jim Lane of New Mexico and Donald Biggerstaff of New York and Bernard and Darlene Gunn of Little Elm, Texas.
