Dear Pat (Geroge), Cindy, Sammy (Becca) and families, Our hearts are broken for all of you. We know that you were all there for her during these trying days. How hard that must have been. We just wanted to let you know how important Queenie was to us. Queenie was such a giving person. Without her being a part of our lives we would never have the Gryhds that we rescue/adopt. Queenie being the animal lover that she was, found Mandy, a Gryhd left for dead on the side of the road. She made sure that this beautiful creature got the best home possible, The Harris'. When we met Mandy, our lives changed. We became part of a rescue/adoption group in Illinois. We now run our group. Because of Queenie, we have adopted into forever homes, 2,396 Gryhds over the last 16yrs. To lose such a life is our loss. We're sure her reunion with your Mom & Dad was glorious. Queenie will always have a special place in our hearts. We lost our sweet Queenie, but the animals have a new Angel. May God Bless you, and your families.
Mark A. Kimball left a message on October 11, 2009:
Queenie was a friend, a political supporter and an employee. During her time in my employ, she watched over me, my company and other employees fiercely (those of us who knew her will understand that description). Her laughter often filled our office with vigorous delight. When her time at my office was over, she was just as loyal. When Anne believed in something, she put all of heart into her efforts. When I was criticized, she would leave my attacker in ruins. When I did something well, Queenie's huge smile warmed the room. When I was down, Queenie's support was resolute. When I made a mistake, I was firmly informed. We were all better to have known her but I was blessed to be her friend.

We knew Queenie, first through her hot tub business, but became close through our visits. She loved plants and took over the care of my 60 year old "Bertha".when we moved to AR. We shared the love of animals and enjoyed her stories of the dogs she had rescued and cared for, even a story of the deer that totaled her truck on the way home to Midland, but she felt good the deer seemed fine! She drove 16 hours to bring us a new tub to Arkansas from Austin, just because she was so good hearted! We will miss her, she was always so uplifting, a true angel!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Queenie was a friend, sister, helper, rejoicer who I love so very very much. She gave of herself so unselfishly and that in which she gave was absolutely priceless. Words can not express how my spirit and soul will miss her. I will never forget you Queenie and by the Grace and Blessing of God in memoy of you ...may we all pay it forward . Isaiah 58:10-11 says "If you feed those who are hungry and take care of the needs of those who are troubled, then your light will shine in the darkness, and you will be bright like the sunshine at noon." Queenie your light must be one of the brightest Peace, Janet Pruitt

I am so sorry that Queenie left this life so early. However, I guess God needed her more that the rest of us. We will miss her smile and her warm personality. God bless you all in this time of sorrow. Barbara and family
