Leah I have to say that as young kids we didn't exactly spend a lot of time together as run around buddies, the parts I remember greatly are the times you and my brothers were picking on us and played jokes on us. At the time maybe not so great , however now they are very fond memories of the past and our childhood. The summers were great and won't be forgotten. Your life's celebration is in full swing and everyone will be celebrating it with you. Please tell our awaiting family in the heavens above that we will all be back together as family very soon. They should start planning those old time reunions now so that we can remenise what a lucky family we really are. You along with the rest are always in our prayers.

How sad I felt upon hearing of Leah's passing to heaven, but rejoiced that her worries and pain are gone. The Dennis Sisters have always brought fond memories of my years at Klondike. Needless to say, Leah, was the ball of fire of the three sisters. I have great memories of Leah in junior high and high school. She contributed in skills, spirit, and leadership. She helped lead them to the state tournament in Austin. Once we were losing a state tournament game, and with very little time left, I told Leah to steal the ball. I told her to even foul if necessary. She fouled three times and fouled out. She sat down by me and asked,Did I do what you wanted? I hugged and said yes and as always you gave 100%. Leah, thank you for being a part of my life, and enjoy being with God in heaven. Coach Bill BrownKlondike High School 1967-1979

My darling girl, I will miss you so! I am so glad we had those special moments together recently and that you are at peace. You will continue in my heart just as you will in so many others because of the special person you are. Each of us that knew you were enriched by the time we had together. Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Give flight to your wings and fly high girl. You will be missed greatly and your spirit will always be free, just as you were here on earth. I am sad that your bubbly personality will be a memory but believe me they will be precious memories forever. Love to your wonderful family.

Leah and I were instrumental in pulling together a singles group in Midland/Odessa back in the 90's and she was a force bigger than life in helping me get Midland Odessa Singles Together (MOST) off the ground and sucessful. I m oved to DFW in 1997 but Leah and I stayed in touch. Kelsey, you won't recall but my kids and I attended your high school grad party and you were always such a source of pride to Leah. I know she fought hard and I hated to see this news but am taking comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering. She will be missed, due to work obligations (business trip to Colorado), I will be at her service in spirit. God bless,Syble
