Laylan Paul Musick Jr., 52, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on January, 25, 2021, due to complications of a fall. Laylan was born in Hearne, Texas, on May 18, 1968, to Laylan and Genell Musick.
He graduated from Snyder High School in 1986 after in which he attended college and received a Drafting Degree. He retired from the State of Texas in 2015. He was an airplane enthusiast and could give information on any plane flying overhead at any particular moment.
He is survived by his parents, Laylan and Genell Musick of Big Spring; two sisters, Melody Stowe and husband, Kenneth of Dallas, and Lawanna Briseno and husband, Mike, one niece and two nephews of Lakeside, California. He had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his gift of life kidney donor, Cheree Watts and her husband.
Laylan will lie in state on Thursday, January 28, 2021, for family and friends at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held at Tahoka, Texas.
