Lawrence \Larry\ Edward Carr, 64, of Midland passed away on October 1st, 2018. Services will be held at 4pm, October 3rd 2018 at Bellview Baptist Church in Midland, Tx.Larry was born on February 28th 1954 in town to Lawrence Eli Carr and Margie Hodge Carr. He graduated from Lee High School in 1973 and attended Midland College the first year it was open. He was a jack of all trades but primarily worked in the oilfield most of his life. He loved the Dallas Cowboys whether they were winning or losing. He enjoyed his talk radio and would listen to it all the time, and could grow just about anything. He planted a grape vine here, and was able to get it t bear fruit almost every year regardless of our climate.He is preceded in death by his father Lawrence Eli Carr, his mother Margie Hodge Carr, his wife Rebecca \Becky\ Smith CarrHe is survived; His son Brandon Carr, his daughter Leigha Gaines and her children Xander Gaines, and Jorja Gaines. His Sisters Sherry Carr Stanley and her husband Clint, Terry Carr Warden, Jeri Kay Carr Gannaway and her husband Lynn, his brother Gary Carr and his wife Gracie May Kemmitz (list survivors here)The family would like to express their gratitude towards Hospice and their incredible attention to detail and bedside manner.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
