Laura Pauline Miller, 94, of Midland, went to meet her Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Deerings Nursing and Rehabilitaion Home in Odessa.Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM in Eastland with Brother Justin Stoner, great grandson of Mrs. Miller, officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastland Cemetery.Pauline was born on July 17, 1911, in Eastland County to Bettie Elizabeth and Robert Samuel Harris. She was married to John Andrew Miller in 1930 in Cisco. She was a dedicated Christian, wife and mother, grandmother of 9 grandchildren and their spouses, great grandmother of 24 great grandchildren and their spouses and to 19 great-great grandchildren.Pauline was very active in the Baptist Church in Kermit, Andrews and Midland. She was a member of the Pink Ladies at the hospital in Andrews and the organization to teach adults to read. At the time of her death, she was a member of Kentucky St. Baptist Church in Midland.Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, John Andrew Miller a son, John Franklin Miller and a granddaughter, Angela Jean Miller.She is survived by two daughters, Betty and Ray Newsome of Midland and Sue and Joe Eaton of Odessa; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Miller of Odessa; and the many children in her life.We want to express our sincere thanks to Hospice of Midland and to so many of the wonderful employees at Deerings Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Odessa.
