Latrice was one of the nicest and thoughtful ladies God ever made! What would East Forth Baptist Church have been without Latrice? I don't ever remember a Sunday, Sunday night, or Wednesday night without seeing her. She kept in touch with me and my sister (and our families) up until recently, by sending us birthday cards and christmas cards! She was so appreciated and loved by my family. I wrote to her a few times but not nearly enough to let her know how much she meant to us. I'm sure she is being rewarded in heaven! We will miss her and we send our love and condolences to her family and my friend Charles.

Latrice was literally a part of our family as long as I can remember. I grew up in East Fourth Street Baptist Church, and remember being around her since I was very young. She was truly a "super-woman"! I still have the birthday card she sent me just a few months ago. If she could continue to send cards from Heaven, I know she would. Latrice is in Heaven now, probably helping them to get better organized. My sincerest condolences especially to my old friend Charles, and the rest of the family. Jerry Clayton

Our longtime friendship with Latrice hasn't ended. The Lord wove her as a special thread into the tapestry of our lives. Our entire family will miss her birthday greetings that always made us feel so special and "remembered". Our deepest sympathy to Charles, Carol and all the family of this wonderful lady who is now rejoicing with so many of her loved ones and friends who have gone on before her to be with our LORD.

Dear family of Latrice: I pray that God's hands will comfort your hearts as you transition through this difficult time. I've known Latrice my entire life and loved her very much too. She was a very special lady to our entire family and a very, very dear friend to my grandmother, Lenora Willingham. She was a true vessel of God's work and will be missed terribly by everyone who knew her. If she could send a message to us all, I know she would ask us not to weep for her, for she is at home with her Lord, Jesus Christ!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

When I think of my home church, where I spent so many hours during my childhood & early adulthood, I always see 'Trice. The church doors never opened that she wasn't there, in the choir loft, sitting on that front pew to register a new member, teaching a class, all the roles she played over those 50+ years. I've never had a birthday go by without a beautiful card from her - EVERY year, she was so faithful. My last memory of Latrice was just in October '07, standing at my own mother's casket there at Nally Pickle Welch, saying her good-byes. "Each one of us must release the hand of one we love into the hand of One we have not seen." See you soon, Latrice. Peace & comfort to you, Charles.

Charles and Carol, please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Trice, She was one of a kind. I could not begin to name all of the great qualities that Trice had and the christian witness she had over the all the years she was our church secretary. Frances and I always received a birthday and anniversary card every year. Trice was much loved by Frances, Lorinda and I, She will be greatly missed. Love, Jack
