LaQuita Jolene Bynum

LaQuita Jolene Bynum, 63 of McCaulley, Texas, passed away on June 10, 2022 at the home of her sister in Midland, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 3:30pm in Roby, Texas.

Jolene was born on August 22, 1958 in Lamesa, Texas to Daniel and LaQuita Nelson. She grew up on the farm and loved seeing cotton in bloom and of full heads of maize. She graduated from Seminole High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from College of the Southwest and a Masters of Education from Sul Ross State University. She taught school in Andrews where she lived with her husband Howard for 27 years until retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Bynum; son, Keith Bynum; daughter, Joni Bynum and granddaughter Joli Vaughn.

She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and LaQuita Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donation to Samaritans Purse.
