Robin Franke left a message on July 27, 2024:
Glen I was there in Midland around the time you and Kristy met and all I can say is you found the one true lucero -- the brightest start to shine in the sky. I went to school with her and she was always such a special person. It's not frequent, but it does happen that people leave your life and you become painfully aware of your own mortality and how quickly time robs us of those who defined our lives. Kristy's is one of those for me. I feel life more intensely now and know my time will come as well, and I'll leave those I love behind. When we shed tears, we shed them for ourselves full well knowing we won't be around longer for those we love. I wish I could have talked to Kristy before she departed. I would have told her what a special person she was. I will always remember her asking me to talk to her physics class about nuclear science. I'll keep that memory forever.

Glen, we know there are no words that can ease your pain but please know that we are praying for you and all the family. Kristy was such a beautiful lady in every way. When we think of Kristy, we will remember her beautiful face, her wisdom & honesty, her incredible faith, and her laugh, she had the best laugh! And we are so thankful for the fun trip we had with you two last year, and will remember it every time we look at this picture of her in her Kentucky Derby hat!

Fran Billingsley left a message on July 4, 2024:
Glen, please share with your five children that Kristy was a blessing to many, many children. When I was director of volunteers for Centers (Counseling) Kristy called the agency to volunteer to monitor visits for children with their noncustodial parent. The KIDS First visits were court ordered and could not happen without a volunteer/supervisor in the room. Kristy was one of the very few people who called Centers to give their time to the children. Centers had to recruit volunteers continually. Kristy's heart, energy and time was a huge gift.. At the time she was teaching at Lee HIgh School full time. With love and sympathy, Fran Billingsley
