Kitty Constance Coulson Ryan, exited/left this life and joined her heavenly Father August 27, 2012. She was born March 2, 1926 to K. J. (Happy) and Maybell (Babe) Clark Coulson in Eastland, Texas. After graduating from Odessa High School, she lived an adventurous life that took her far and wide but brought her home to Midland in 1972, where she lived many happy years. Kitty was blessed with a phenomenal singing voice and performed as "Savannah", along with friend and accompanist Ivan Shoesmith, at venues such as Sau Souci, the Hilton lounge and the Lusty Lady for many years. Besides music, her passion for life included reading and attending the sporting events of her great niece and nephews. Kitty also had a boundless compassion for animals, both domestic and wild.She is survived by two brothers, Frank W. Coulson and wife, Carol of Ganado, Texas and Jimmy D. Coulson and wife, Rita of Brownwood; nieces, Cynthia Coulson of New York and D.D. Coulson Hale and husband, Bill of Abilene; nephews, David Coulson of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Mike Coulson of Denton and beloved dogs, Maribell and Boo.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Larry Hood, officiating.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home of Midland.
